Outdoor and Trekking Adventures with Fly Fishing!
The exhibition on ‘Outdoor & Trekking with Fly Fishing’ shows the fascinating combination of experiencing nature, fly fishing and outdoor activities.
It combines adventure, relaxation and sustainability and appeals to both experienced outdoor enthusiasts and newcomers.
The exhibition will take the form of an experience zone in which equipment, gear and clothing will be clearly displayed. Visitors will be able to find out about suitable, necessary and professional materials that are suitable for camping, long hikes and fly fishing in extreme environments.
Two screens with various outdoor films and a photo wall convey impressions of the uniqueness and beauty of the outdoor experience of fly fishing.
What else is there to see and try out?
Outdoor equipment & trekking
- Comparison of lightweight and hard-wearing trekking equipment for different climate zones.
- Test stations where visitors can try out modern outdoor clothing, sleeping systems and rucksacks.
Trekking while fishing
- Tips and techniques for camping in the wilderness: orientation, making a fire, nutrition, preparing & planning trips
- Demonstration: setting up a camp for multi-day fishing trips, including waterproof tents and mobile cooking equipmentg.
- Testimonials from experienced fly fishermen about adventures in remote regions.
In the experience area, you will meet Peter Corzilius, a specialist in outdoor and fly fishing, among others. Peter will also be giving a talk on ‘Lapland on foot’ on both days.
The experience area is provided and supervised by Kompass Sport and Fly-Zone.
