Meghan Markle Blushes as Drew Barrymore Comments On Meghan and Harry’s “Hot” Chemistry

Drew Barrymore might have just made Meghan Markle blush during the Duchess of Sussex’s March 6 appearance on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. In the interview—which was taped on March 4, the same day Meghan’s eight-part Netflix series With Love, Meghan was released on the platform—Barrymore flustered Meghan as she brought up her marriage to Prince Harry.

“Every time I ever know anyone who ever knows you guys talk about how hot—this is the keyword. Everyone. And they are different people from different walks of lives,” Barrymore said, to which Meghan responded, “What is she about to say?”

“They go, ‘They’re so hot for each other,’” Barrymore continued. Meghan then covered her face with her hands and laughed as Barrymore added, “Every time I see a photo of you, you’re holding hands, you’re kissing, you are so affectionate.”

“I mean, look, life is full of surprises,” Meghan said. “I did not expect to meet H [her nickname for Harry] and for this to be our love story and, you know, I'm very lucky.”

Meghan gushed over Harry, calling him an “amazing father” and calling him the “funniest, sweetest, most charming” man.

Meghan also shared an anecdote from college, recalling that the father of one of the children she was babysitting for told her, “Meghan, when you meet your person one day, I want him to say to you the same thing that I said to my wife when we got married, which is: ‘I vow to always date my wife.’”

She continued, “And I told H that when we started dating, and he goes, ‘I vow to always date you.’ So we have this connection, I think, because we're so committed to treating each other the same way you did before you had a ring on it. Before it was locked down. When you’re just courting each other and you can see all the good and joy during that butterfly period.”
