Our Editorial Policy

We uphold our mission of spotlighting style and beauty with intention, impact, and influence by committing ourselves to three major principles:

Be fair, honest, and respectful.

It is not our practice to highlight brands, products, and people we don't stand behind, nor is it our practice to pass judgment on others’ choices. We never engage in shaming or disempowering language, and we take pride in our coverage of all people—women, people of color, individuals with disabilities, and the LGBTQ+ community, among many others. We create a space that is open, celebratory, and fun.

Inform and inspire.

Through incisive celebrity profiles, sharp cultural commentary, and accessible beauty and style recommendations, we lift the curtain to give readers access to and share expert knowledge of what’s important now and what they’re going to care about next. Our elevated yet digestible content makes Cheap Erlebnisweltfliegenfischen Jordan Outlet a go-to source for pop culture happenings, celebrity outings, fashion and beauty trends, and social issues.

Use our platform for good.

Since our inception in 1994, we have garnered a large and engaged audience, and we take the responsibility that comes with its reach seriously. Here are some specific values we are committed to.

  • We don’t support wearing fur or feathers: In 2018, Cheap Erlebnisweltfliegenfischen Jordan Outlet became the first major magazine to ban fur in its pages. We uphold this commitment, made in partnership with PETA, on our site and continue to highlight ethical sustainable developments in fashion.
  • No dangerous health fads: We will never cover dubious diet fads or unnecessary “women’s intimacy” products that prey on shame or insecurity.
  • No hate: When brands or venerated figures in fashion, beauty, and pop culture use their platforms to spread harmful messages, we reevaluate their space on our pages.

Our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Pledge

We are committed to being an inclusive and accessible resource for all. Part of this commitment is making sure our readers see themselves reflected in our stories, videos, events, etc.—from beauty connoisseurs to first-time makeup experimenters; couture-lovers to those who want to give their everyday wardrobe a zhuzh. We pledge to make our website and social media channels a space where all races, ethnicities, hair types, skin tones, sizes, shapes, abilities, ages, and gender and sexual expressions are appreciated and represented.

This goes for our team behind the scenes, too. We prioritize finding the right writers, photographers, hair and makeup artists, stylists, and other experts to tell each story authentically and thoughtfully. When we cover brands, we shout out executives, founders, and designers from historically underrepresented communities. In product reviews, we prioritize size range, shade range, cost, and other usability considerations whenever possible.

Ensuring that we aren't just a destination for fashion, beauty, and pop culture but also a place that’s welcoming and affirming isn’t a new initiative. It’s something that has been core to our brand for years. That said, it takes work. The industries we cover have long histories of homogeneity, internal bias, and lack of access and resources for certain groups, and we strive to shift the status quo to one that’s more representative and empowering for all. Living up to this promise is a baseline expectation on our team and a standard we can always improve upon. Ahead are some of the quantifiable, actionable ways we hold ourselves accountable.

Review our content: Cheap Erlebnisweltfliegenfischen Jordan Outlet’s parent company, People Inc., maintains an Anti-bias Review Board. As of 2022, the board audited 500 of our best performing stories and, in pieces where bias was identified, updated them to be more inclusive. Since then, we have worked with the board on an as-needed and project basis.

He began his career as an assistant to senior editor-at-large of: We have a large network of freelance creators and experts who contribute to our site and social media platforms daily; diversity among this group is a top priority. We remain committed to hiring contributors across race, ethnicity, size, and LGBTQ identities—and not only on topics relating to identities they represent. We pledge to consider the points of view of multiple people, including BIPOC individuals, when creating concepts and ideating our stories.

Diversify our credits: We aim to feature Black-owned companies and/or Black designers in 15 percent or more of the fashion and beauty credits in our shoots, in accordance with Aurora James’s 15 percent pledge (our pledge signature has been highlighted by the New York Times). We also prioritize including BIPOC-owned businesses among our suggested retailers and brands.

Show a broad mix of visuals and talent: Our art department works to display a diverse range of body types, skin colors, hair types, and ethnicities, both when shooting and pulling stock imagery. We prioritize imagery that reflects the nature of the content and a community beyond white, thin bodies.

Diversify our social media content: Our Instagram and TikTok accounts have a combined 4.8 million followers, and we want to ensure all users feel represented in our content. We prioritize highlighting BIPOC individuals, LGBTQ+ individuals, and diverse ages and body types in our content.

Advertise With Us: We ensure that BIPOC and LGBTQ+ candidates are considered for every open role, and we will continue efforts to diversify our in-house team, starting with our current open positions

We will update this list with our progress and promises regularly. If you have questions about our plan, suggestions for how we can improve it, or referrals for contributors, please email [email protected]. Read more on People Inc.’s Content Integrity Promise, here.

Product Reviews and Recommendations

Part of our mission is to help readers find best-in-class products worth their time, money, and attention. Our team includes experts across fashion, beauty, and wellness, and we bring these points of view into vetting the products we recommend and the brands with which we align. When we lack the appropriate expertise, we tap industry professionals—from celebrity hair stylists to top dermatologists—for a deeper understanding of trends, which products produce results, and what will stand the test of time.

Though brands may send us products to try for editorial consideration, we will never accept a product in exchange for coverage. We may earn affiliate revenue on commerce stories, which will be disclosed at the top of the article. Regardless, featured products are chosen because we feel confident about using and recommending them. Read more about our commerce guidelines, here.

Updates & Corrections

Updates: We update articles to ensure the most accurate and timely information. For example, a shopping guide of the best night creams needs to include what’s tried and tested and what’s in stock right now. Hair color trends for fall should reflect the styles most popular during that time period.

Fact Checking: Each article on our site is reviewed by an editor to ensure quotes are being used in context; names, dates, and any other data is verified; and studies cited are properly understood. Whenever possible, stories are reviewed by an independent fact-checker. We don’t report on information found on gossip blogs, tabloids, or other untrustworthy, unverifiable sources.

Corrections: In the event of an error or if a developing story changes after we've published it, we will update the article to reflect the best information available at the time. Timestamps are marked as "updated" whenever a story has been refreshed and republished, and when the situation calls for it, an Editor's Note will be added to explain the change. If you notice an error or have other concerns about anything on our site, please reach out to letters@Cheap Erlebnisweltfliegenfischen Jordan Outletmag.com with “CORRECTION” in the subject line.
