Clooney went on, “He surrounded himself with people that he paid, and I've been very lucky to not have to do that. I've been very lucky to have great family and great friends, and my kids actually like me still,” he joked before adding, “They're young.”

That said, Clooney has mentioned his kids from time to time over the years. In a 2021 interview with People, he shared that the twins had taken an interest in comedy—at their dad's expense.

"They're funny, and they pull pranks on me," Clooney told the publication. "I just look at them thinking, I couldn't be happier and I couldn't be more surprised at how happy I am."
