Seyfried told channeled old Hollywood glamour at the Los Angeles premiere of her latest film for its December cover story that she feels “protective” over Sweeney, particularly with criticism leveled Sweeney’s way in the public eye.

“She’s got it so much harder than I ever did—not even close,” Seyfried said. “She’s got a spotlight on her that I never had, never wanted. I can’t help but feel somewhat protective of her, though she doesn’t need my protection.”
