Speaking of Griffin, Foster was coupled up with the screenwriter from roughly 2013 to 2024. The ex-couple met on a blind date and eventually tied the knot in 2014. They share one kid together, a daughter named Emily, whom they adopted in 2017.

“There was something about being with Ted that made me want kids,” the actress later told People. “He belonged in my family," she said, adding that she "didn’t really understand the concept of motherhood until he came around."
