Noah Wyle is having a big year. But when he accepted the award for Best Actor in a Drama Series at the 2026 Golden Globes, he was quick to acknowledge all those who helped him get there. Chief among them, his family.

"I've been supported by an incredible wife and three great children all along the way," the star of The Pitt said. His wife of nearly 12 years, Sara Wyle, blew him a kiss from the audience. He closed out the speech by shouting out his better half once again. "Lastly to my beautiful wife Sara, happy birthday. I hope you're enjoying your party."

"This last year, I've really felt that they've been listening and watching and it's been impactful." But that doesn't mean they've watched every hour of their dad's work. In the same interview, Wyle said that his kids had watched more Grey's Anatomy than ER, the medical drama that helped Wyle rise to fame in the late '90s.

Noah Wyle met Sara Wyle in 2010, and they married in 2014.

Wyle's love story with his wife Sara began in 2010, per his instagram,. In a 2019 post featuring a photo of Sara, he wrote, "9 years ago this week my life turned into a love story. And it keeps getting better."

Four years after their meet cute, the Wyles married at their California home. Noah later told The View The Hollywood Reporter People. Afterward, they jetted off to Paris for their honeymoon.

In June 2025, the Wyles celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary. In an Instagram post celebrating their milestone, Sara wrote, "11 years and there’s still no one who makes me laugh quite like you."

Noah Wyle has three kids: son Owen and daughters Auden and Frances.

About a year after their wedding, on June 22, 2015, Noah and Sara welcomed their first child together, Frances Harper Wyle. Noah shares two children with ex-wife Tracy, whom he was married to from 2000 to 2010. His son Owen was born in November 9, 2002, while his elder daughter Auden was born October 15, 2005.

Noah told People in a 2025 interview that becoming a father changed his perspective on acting. "I suddenly was very conscious of the things that my kids would be watching their father do or say...You know, I'd rather play good guys," Wyle said.
