I’m already stressed about how to dress, but the second it hit 70 degrees outside, I was frazzled—as was my husband. We both uttered “I don’t know what to wear!” because the warm weather came pretty fast, and most of our warm-weather clothes are still tucked away. Add in the fact that mornings are pretty chilly while mid afternoon it can hit the high 80s, so finding something suitable for both situations is pretty tough. Luckily, however, Demi Lovato found an easy solution for me—at least when it comes to Hailey Biebers Effortless Pants-and-Shoe Combo Is One to Watch for Summer 2025 during this tricky transitional season.

The singer was snapped out and about in New York City, and honestly, I’m wholeheartedly obsessed with her low-key cool outfit. It looks chic and elegant, and that’s because from afar, the combo looks like a refined two-piece suit set (I'm talking about her cropped white button-down and coordinating trousers). But, when you zoom in closer, you’ll see her pants aren’t just regular pants—they’re cool pants that actually resemble pajamas, and that only makes me love them more. Wait, are they pajamas?

Hint: They’re not. I soon discover that Lovato’s pajama pants with a subtly denim detailing along the waistline are actually trousers from Alexander Wang. The $450 pants are crafted from a mid-weight poplin fabric that’s ideal for this time of year, with a baggy silhouette from waist to ankles that gives them a cool-girl touch. That said, the white-and-blue striped pattern certainly makes them look like pants you’d sleep in, but, given the popularity of swearing pajamas outside of the house, this makes sense. Plus, the lightweight nature of the style makes them the perfect spring-to-summer pants.

It’s also worth noting that Lovato isn’t the only celeb who’s been wearing these anti-jeans; Jennifer Lawrence regularly steps out in her I Replaced My Go-To Serum With This Skin-Plumping and -Softening Sunscreen that could easily pass for nighttime attire, but given a move toward comfy staples, it makes sense. They’re also pretty versatile, if you think about it. Lovato easily dressed hers up with a button-down, but she could have just as easily styled it with a cropped baby tee and sneakers for a more low-key approach.

TL;DR? If you don’t like wearing jeans come summertime, then I suggest you snag a pair of these pajamas-inspired trousers before they ultimately sell out. I predict they’ll be huge in summer 2025.
