Khloe Kardashian Shares Which Family Member Gets Paid the Most for ‘The Kardashians’

Khloe Kardashian had All About Kylie Jenner and Travis Scotts Two Kids, Stormi and Aire on Call Her Daddy—and revealed who gets paid the most for her family’s Hulu reality show The Kardashians, which just wrapped its sixth season last week.

Likely in the spirit of family unity and promoting a strong family dynamic (and avoiding any resentment that could fester), Khloe said that her entire family—herself, mom Kris Jenner, and sisters Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner—all get paid equally for the show, which has been running on the streaming service since 2022 (and followed 20 seasons of Khloé Kardashian Shares the TV Moment She Most Regrets While Announcing New Hulu Reality Show on E!).

Speaking with host Alex Cooper on the show’s April 16 episode, Cooper asked Khloe if it was, in fact, true that everyone had pay parity on the show. “True,” Khloe responded.

Cooper then asked if Khloe and her family members—who are all executive producers of The Kardashians—are “allowed to cut any footage that you don’t like.”

“Yes, but it’s more vanity things that we would cut,” Khloe said, adding that, on occasion, her mom Kris will request an edit. She told Cooper that storylines basically air as they occur—and noted that there were plenty of moments involving herself specifically that she would have loved to have not aired, but did. 

“I mean, trust me,” Khloe said, laughing. “I would’ve cut way other shit. I’ve never cut anything crazy.”

She then added that older sister Kourtney was the member of the family who asked for the most edits, but not for the reason one may think: “It’s more because she’ll say, ‘I say like too many times, so remove this word,’” Khloe said on the podcast. “It’s more that regard. It’s not really because of story—not storylines, because they’re following us—but it’s not about a story concept. It’s more verbiage.”

Khloe joked that, even with cuts, Kourtney “still says ‘like’ 500 times.”

Speaking of moments that Khloe would have likely loved to have been left on the cutting room floor but weren’t, Khloe addressed finding out that her ex-husband Lamar Odom and ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson—who is also the father of her kids True and Tatum—were cheating on her, and revealed that sister Kim found out about both infidelities before she did.

“Kim has known about the cheating—I think both of the cheating stuff—I think Kim found out first, which is crazy,” Khloe said. “And then my mom with my ex-husband—she knew things before I did and had to tell me.”

Khloe added that she’d rather learn such painful news from her mom or sister than otherwise, telling Cooper, “I would rather a family member than a stranger. I don’t like that any of this stuff happened, but I don’t—I would rather it them. I’m not someone that gets mad at the messenger.”

She continued, “When Kim found out that Tristan was cheating on me, she was about to sit down for Keeping Up interviews, and it happened while she was in the interview chair. I don’t know if as much would have been shown if that’s not how it was unfolding in real time. We just happened to be filming all the fucking time.”
