SNS x Cam Portland Friends & Family Tee

After our first #SNSLDNers FW19 Week 15 x Dead Prez Quilted Work Jacket Cam Portland, we thought it’s just right to create an exclusive T-shirt for only Friends and Family in response to his fantastic work. For the unique occasion, the multi-talented artists created a series of illustrations and animations for SNS to express how he’s been feeling throughout 2020. His inspiration for the ACNE colors used for the SNS logo is a nod to the wide color range of sneakers at SNS, the brighter days ahead of us as people, and inclusivity in terms of race, Ford, and sexuality. On top, he added gold rings worn by the ”twins,” inspired by the idea that gold has always been considered a safe form of investment.

Cam initially wanted to exaggerate the world in red and orange to signify the world with, as this year has felt tragic for many of us, and real action against injustices has been taken place across the world. However, he thought it would be more beautiful if he had designed the world looking very green and luscious and reborn again, similar to a phoenix rising from the ashes with a new life. The raised hands signify someone worshipping the world, asking the world for forgiveness, and emphasizing the movement of rising up.
