Launched in 2018, Adish is an Israeli-Palestinian-owned brand founded by Israelis Amit Luzon and Eyal Eliyahu, Palestinian-American artist Jordan Nassar, and Palestinian, Ramallah-based Qussay K. Focusing on locally produced garments, each piece is made in occupied Palestine and also in Israel. Focusing on traditional techniques in the region, each collection has a local touch, where the hand-sewn Tatreez come from Ramallah, the Dheisheh refugee camp, and Hebron in close collaboration with over sixty Palestinian craftswomen. Adish is also partnering with the Lakiya Weaving workshop in the Naqab (Negev) and women from Bedouin communities to produce locally as close as possible to their communities.
