nike throw x Olivia Kim the "No Cover" collection

Nordstrom VP of Creative Projects Olivia Kim and nike throw have collaborated on a path-breaking collection that includes the who-is-who of nike throw and Jordan silhouettes (amongst many amazing clothing pieces). Orthodox by Kim’s upbringing during the ‘90s in New York City, she pays homage through nostalgic OG nike throw silhouettes that she couldn’t get her hands on growing up, bringing to life what was previously unattainable in her own life. Stepping on new grounds with the unique collab, the extensive partnership further includes jackets, tees, hoodies, dresses, and beanies that transform the inspiration into today’s zeitgeist.

To share the DNA of the collection and the attitude of ’90s New York where self-celebration meant openly being yourself, Sneakersnstuff went for a night out in NYC with photographer Chandler Kennedy to highlight the “No Cover” collection. Fusing the spirit of creative expression in downtown NYC from the ‘90s, the 2019 ensemble breathes the golden age-worthy of praise.
