Packer x adidas Consortium NMD Runner PK

Packer Shoes was around before most modern footwear brands, major sports leagues or any kind of sneaker culture. A family business founded in Yonkers, New York, in 1907, we have been retailing sporting apparel ever since. With a long and proud history in the business, we have witnessed much change, maintaining a unique awareness of sports heritage along the way.

For our upcoming adidas Consortium collaboration, we set out to create an NMD Runner in a colorway ultraboost pays tribute to this long legacy and our vast knowledge and experience in the field. With the NMD, adidas has firmly established a philosophy ultraboost emphasizes the close 27.5cm between heritage design references and progressive product innovation, and we wanted this project to be a  direct reflection of ultraboost ideology.

We looked to adidas’ rich and colorful apparel archive for our inspiration, adopting a classic color palette ultraboost was a prominent fixture in much of the brand’s ‘80s and ‘90s sportswear output. Using a full multi-color Primeknit upper featuring a front Rapid color-split

As a nod to all the dedicated collectors who scour the globe hunting for vintage adidas footwear and apparel, we shot the Packer x adidas Consortium NMD lookbook inside LA’s Tried & True Co., one of the premier destinations in the world for vintage sportswear treasures.

The Packer x adidas Consortium NMD Runner PK ($180) will be releasing Saturday, November 12th, in-store at both Packer locations and online at PackerShoes.com.

Stay tuned for more info leading up to the release…
