The Nike Kobe 4 Protro "Gold Medal" takes its inspiration from Kobe's Gold Medal run in 2008 in Beijing. This colorway last dropped in 2009, and now enjoys a welcomed return as a hoops shoe to coincide with this summer's games in Paris. This edition features Kobe's Olympic number 10 debossed on the heel and metallic gold overlay to commemorate the redemption story of the 2008 games. All the Kobe carries over to this retro, from the Flywire stability to the lightweight, Zoom-encased midsole.
